In a larger bowl, dissolve the yeast with the sugar, in a little warm water, then add salt, the rest of the water, milk, lemon peel, flour as it contains, eggs and mix well. Add a little oil, kneading the dough well until it becomes thick enough, elastic and good to spread. Then, grease with a little oil and leave to rise until it doubles in volume. Place a rolling pin over the dough bowl and cover with a clean kitchen towel.

Flour on the work table (or grease with oil, as you prefer) and divide the dough into two pieces to work easier. Spread the first crust, in a thicker sheet. Cut the donuts with the glass or any shape you want. I made the first dough, the round donuts, and I cut the second one into squares.

Fry the donuts in hot oil until golden brown.

Serve with your favorite jam, along with a cup of milk.

Glazed donut dessert

Simple donuts are good, but glazed ones will turn your dessert into a more special one. I also have a few options for decorating you with white or dark chocolate, coconut flakes or meringues, but the truth is that you can play as much as you want.


  • 140 ml of warm milk
  • 14-15 g of dry yeast
  • 475 g of quality flour plus extra for the worktop
  • ½ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 90 g old powder
  • 2 sachets of vanilla bourbon sugar
  • 90 g of butter 82% fat, unsalted, at room temperature
  • 2 eggs
  • grated peel from an orange
  • oil for greasing the dough but also for frying
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • several types of chocolate
  • coconut flakes
  • chocolate flakes
  • decorative candies
  • jam or meringue

RECIPE PREPARATION Glazed donut dessert:

It took: Heat the milk a little on the fire and dissolve the yeast and bourbon vanilla sugar in it. Let it warm for 5-10 minutes until it starts to swell.

Then mix the dry ingredients. Sift the flour into a large bowl. Sift the powdered sugar on top and add salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix everything well.

Grease the dough with oil and put it in a large bowl and cover it with cling film. Let it warm until it doubles in volume.
Then take the dough out on the table and spread a sheet about 1 cm thick and then cut circles with a kitchen ring or a glass. Then cut in the middle with a smaller ring or a juice bottle cap. Gather the leftover dough and do the same until you drain all the dough.

Heat oil in a deeper pan and fry the donuts on both sides, over medium heat. Remove the donuts on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
For the chocolate glazes, boil a saucepan with a little water and then melt the chocolate separately in different bowls on a steam bath. For the pink icing, melt the white chocolate and then mix it with the strawberry jam.

Then dip each donut on one side in the chocolate, put them on a grill and decorate as you like. Let them harden a little chocolate and serve them with pleasure!

Donuts with vanilla pudding and nuts & # 8211 a sweet dessert, easy to prepare

Vanilla and walnut pudding donuts are my favorites. Ever since I discovered this recipe, this is the only way I prepare donuts. They are very tasty.

Dough ingredients:

  • 1 kg of wheat flour, 50 gr of yeast
  • 300 ml milk, 6 egg yolks, 1 egg
  • 6 teaspoons sunflower oil, 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Ingredients for pudding cream:

  • 200 gr powdered sugar
  • 150 gr chopped walnuts
  • 200 ml sunflower oil (for frying)

Method of preparation:

Dissolve the yeast in 100 ml of milk and set aside in a warm place for about 15 minutes.

Sift the wheat flour with the baking powder into a large bowl. Add 200 ml of milk, egg, egg yolks, sunflower oil, vanilla sugar and salt.

Then add the yeast and knead the dough. Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and leave it in a warm place for about 1 hour to have time to rise.

After the dough has doubled in volume, we transfer it to the worktop sprinkled with flour. Spread the dough in a rectangular sheet. Using a round-mouthed glass, cut circles out of the dough to form the donuts.

Now we can prepare the cream. Dissolve the pudding powder, sugar and yolks in 100 ml of milk. We boil the remaining milk. When it boils, add the pudding and mix well until it thickens.

Let the pudding cool. Beat the butter with the mixer, then gradually add the cold pudding. Mix well until you get a smooth cream.

Put in a deep pan 200 ml of sunflower oil. Let the oil heat up, then put the donuts in the pan. Fry the donuts on both sides.

After frying them, cut them in half so you can fill them with pudding cream. Sprinkle powdered sugar and chopped walnuts over the donuts, then we can serve them. Good appetite!
