That was all! delicious and fluffy! it keeps for about 2-3 days and can be reheated in the microwave!

Ingredients

  • 225g milk
  • 10 g fresh baker's yeast
  • 40 g sugar (and a little more for the surface)
  • 75 g soft butter, in pieces (and a little more for the mold)
  • 410 g of flour (and a little more for the stove)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 18 teaspoons of angel hair
  • A little egg or milk white to paint the surface

Preparation

Put the milk, yeast and sugar in the glass. programmer 1 minute, 37º, speed 2.

Add butter, flour, egg yolks and salt. programmer 3 minutes, top speed.

Let the dough rest in the glass (with the lid and glass lit) or in a bowl, covering it with foil. Let it rest at room temperature for about two hours.

When it has doubled in volume, we put a little flour on the counter. Place the dough on top, work it with your hands and roll it out until you get a plate about 1 centimeter thick.

With a bowl or a pasta cutter, form discs about 7 centimeters in diameter. In the center of each disk we put a teaspoon of angel hair and close them, forming balls.

I spread a source (mine is 30 × 18) with a little butter. We place the balls leaving the separation between them.

Cover the source with cling film and let it rise for about 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 170º.

We paint the surface of our buns with egg white (we can take advantage of some of the leftovers) or with a little milk. Sprinkle moistened sugar on the surface of each.

Bake at 170º for about 40 minutes.

Hot buns stuffed with chicken and vegetables

Children turn up their noses at some of the tastiest and most nutritious dishes. Beyond the regret we feel when we see that good food is being wasted, we need to do something to change their minds.

In the next few minutes, Horia Vîrlan offers us an ingenious recipe for buns stuffed with chicken breast sauces and vegetables that will make the little ones not only agree to eat everything but ask for another portion.

Hot buns stuffed with chicken and vegetables

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 4 big buns
  • 300 g of boneless and skinless chicken breast
  • 1 small carrot cleaned
  • 1 small onion cleaned and chopped
  • 1 small parsnip / 1/4 of cleaned medium celery
  • 2-3 tablespoons canned or thawed peas
  • ½ of yellow pepper cleaned of seeds and ribs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 300 ml of vegetable / poultry soup
  • 100 ml sweet cream
  • 1 egg (yolk)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • decoration

Method of preparation:

Cut the carrot, parsnip and bell pepper into small cubes. Cut the chicken breast into cubes about 2 cm on the side, then heat a saucepan and add the butter. Brown the chest cubes on all sides, then remove them on a clean plate, and in their place, sauté the vegetables over low heat.

After 4-5 minutes, add the chicken cubes and vegetable soup, seasoning lightly. Boil the sauté until the liquid has evaporated almost completely resulting in a thick sauce. Add the cream and boil for a few more minutes, then turn off the heat, taste the salt and add the chopped greens.

While the sauté is boiling, cut the buns into a lid and hollow out their core. Fill the buns with the chicken sauté, replace the lid, then grease them with the beaten egg yolk.

Place the buns on an oven tray and bake at 200 ° C for 4-5 minutes.

Place the buns on a plate and garnish with moon radishes, chunks of bell pepper, carrots and peas, creating a train or other cute animals.

During this time the dough rises. Remove from the cold and cut into pieces (how big you want the bun to be, I cut them the size of a larger plum).

Each piece of dough is lightly spread by hand pressing and in the middle of the dough we put a piece of sliced ​​cheese. Gather the dough over the piece of cheese and form a ball.

The balls thus formed are placed in the tray in which I put baking paper where they are left to ferment for about 15-20 minutes. During this time we prepare the sauce with which they will be greased before putting them in the oven.

Rub the crushed garlic with a little salt and then mix with 2-3 tablespoons of melted butter and finely chopped parsley. With this sauce, grease each mini bun filled with cheese and put the tray in a preheated oven where we will bake them at 180 degrees Celsius on the ventilation function for 20-25 minutes.

Remove from the oven and grease again with garlic and parsley sauce and then serve with ketchup, tomato sauce, pesto.

Buns with surprises or stuffed buns

If I keep preparing sandwiches in the morning for the packages at work and in large numbers, I thought of preparing them in the form of buns with surprises.

So I introduced the ingredients for sandwiches, in fluffy and beautiful buns.

They turned out very good and had a great effect on those who enjoyed them.


For the buns, prepare a dough from all the above ingredients and leave it to rise for about 30 minutes.

For kimchi, boil 2 liters of water in a saucepan with 4 tablespoons of salt. Cut the cabbage into strips, about 2 cm wide, carrots into thin strips and green onions into thin slices. Put the vegetables in a bowl and pour boiling water over them. After 5 minutes, take them out and rinse them with cold water. Put the vegetables back in the bowl and mix them with the rice vinegar.

Cut red onions, ginger and garlic into large pieces and place in a bowl. Add the fish sauce, sugar, honey, orange juice and pass them until you get a fine paste. Stir in the fried garlic and sesame seeds. Mix the resulting paste with the Chinese cabbage.

Between two sheets of baking paper, spread the dough for the buns so that it is about 0.5 cm thick, cover it and leave it to rise again for 15 minutes. Cut circles out of the dough and fold each piece in half so that both halves are perfectly on top of each other. Place a piece of baking paper between the halves of the dough to form small pockets.

Place the buns on pieces of paper and place them in a pot with a steamer insert (or in a sieve / steamer) for about 10-13 minutes. At the end, carefully remove on a grill and leave to cool for a few minutes.

Peel the chicken fillets, season with salt and pepper and add them to the flour. Shake off the excess flour and then pass the strips of meat through the beaten egg. Mix the breadcrumbs with the sesame seeds and roll the meat through it. Fry, in turn, the chicken fillets in a pan with hot oil.


Minced meat sauce:

Cut the onion into small cubes and put it in oil until soft. Then add the minced meat, grated garlic, season with salt and pepper. Stir constantly and leave until the sauce decreases, and the meat is done. Let it cool a bit.

On each circle of dough we put 1 teaspoon of ketchup / tomato sauce, minced meat and then a piece of mozzarella. We make sure that 2 cm at the edge of the dough remains empty so that we can gather the edges and form a ball. We carefully tighten the edges to seal them. We model it lightly in the palm then we put it in a ceramic form or in a tray greased with a little butter. We leave about 3 cm between them because they will grow. We leave the buns to rise until they double in volume. At the end we grease them with beaten egg. Grate cheese on top. Put them in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes until they are browned.
