Mint cake

For the top, rub the yolks with sugar until a whitish cream results, add water, mix vigorously to melt the sugar well, add the beaten egg whites with a pinch of salt, then mix the flour with a spatula in vertical movements; bake and simmer for 30 minutes

For the cream, melt the chopped chocolate in a bain-marie, add the liqueur and after it has cooled, mix with half the whipped cream, mint powder and let it cool (be careful not to harden too much)

For the syrup, mix the sugar and water in a bowl on the fire until it melts and after it has cooled, pour 1-2 teaspoons of essence.


After the countertop has cooled, we cut it into two sheets, we syrup them, we put the cream between them, taking care to set aside 3 tablespoons for garnish

we coat the cake with the remaining whipped cream, we also set aside 3 tablespoons which we mix with dye and use to garnish

After we have covered the cake, with the posh we make motions interspersed with chocolate and mint and on the edges we put tablets with mint cream in MIDNIGHT MINTS chocolate (commercially available)

Let the cake cool for 1-2 hours, after which it can be served.

    Mint is a very old medicine. It was discovered in the tombs of the Egyptian pharaohs and during an archeological study at Karnak.

    Mint is a perennial plant that grows to a height of 90 cm. It has a woody rhizome with underground and above-ground protrusions with buds. The stems are square, branched at the top.

    Mint can even grow in a pot.

    Mint is a strongly aromatic plant. It contains menthol (almost 50%), terpenes, pine nuts, limonene, cineole and others.

    Mint has an anti-inflammatory and astringent effect. Soothes and relieves cramps, prevents bloating and supports digestive processes. It has a disinfectant, antidiarrheal and antirheumatic effect.

    In cosmetics, peppermint oils are used in massage creams, face masks, toothpastes, mouthwashes, etc.

    Mint tea

    To prepare a tasty tea we need a tablespoon of dried nettle. Pour over the nettle half a liter of boiling water and let it infuse for 5-10 minutes.

    We strain the tea and drink it during the day. Mint tea should not be drunk every day. It is also not recommended for young children and infants. Pregnant and lactating women should not consume mint in the long run.

    Peppermint oil

    Peppermint oil is prepared from young mint, which has not yet begun to bloom. Finely chop about 50 grams of mint, put in a jar and pour 250 ml of quality oil. Close the jar and set aside for 14 days.

    After 14 days, fill the small vials with oil, close them tightly and store them in a cool place.

    We use peppermint oil for rashes, eczema, bruises. In case of migraines and headaches, rub the forehead with peppermint oil.

    Mint syrup

    To prepare a mint syrup we need:

    • 500 ml of water
    • 350 gr sugar
    • 3 handfuls of fresh mint
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

    Method of preparation:

    Cook the mint for about 5 minutes, then let it infuse for 2 hours. Put mint in a piece of gauze and strain it. Add sugar and lemon juice. We put the pot on the fire. Stir until all the sugar has dissolved.

    Wait for it to boil then pour the syrup into a clean bottle. From the given ingredients we will obtain approximately 500 ml of syrup.

    Preparation: I put the biscuits in the robot and I crushed them, I added peanut butter and butter over them, I mixed well, then I put the composition thus obtained in the shape of a cake, I spread it well, so that a somewhat uniform top came out. , then I put the countertop in the fridge to cool.

    I cut the plums in half and put them in a saucepan with the sugar, mint leaves, vanilla essence and cinnamon and let them boil until they softened. Before extinguishing the fire, I added the gelatin soaked in cold water according to the instructions on the package, mixed well and set the plums aside to cool for 5 minutes.

    After the plums had cooled, I introduced the blender and chopped them until it formed like a paste, then I added the yogurt, I mixed a little more and that's it, that's all.     Mint cake

    Prepare a cake form with a diameter of 17 cm. Remove the dates from the dates, if necessary, and grind until they turn into a sticky paste. Put the walnut in the food processor and grind for 3-4 seconds. Mix the walnuts, carob and dates until a homogeneous paste is obtained. This composition is evenly distributed in the form of a cake, pressed well with your fingers and left to cool.

    250 g hydrated cashews 3-4 hours
    75 g cocoa butter
    ½ teaspoon of spirulina powder
    2 drops of peppermint essential oil
    1-2 tablespoons of honey
    1 tablespoon cocoa


    Method of preparation:

    The cocoa butter is melted in a bain-marie (its water has a maximum temperature of 40C). If you don't have cocoa butter you can use coconut oil. The cashew is mixed until it becomes a fine cream. Put the 1-2 tablespoons of honey and cocoa butter turned into oil. We mix for another round. The cashew cream is divided into two equal parts. In a bowl, in 5 ml of water, put 2 drops of peppermint essential oil. In one of the cashew creams add the spirulina powder, peppermint essential oil and mix for a few seconds. In the other bowl add 1-2 tablespoons of cocoa and mix for a few seconds. Remove the tray with the top from the freezer and pour the green composition, then the one with cocoa. Keep in the freezer until the next day, when the cake will be removed from the mold.

    1 tablespoon cocoa
    1 tablespoon honey

    Method of preparation:

    Mix cocoa with a little water and honey. Put the topping over the very well frozen cake and you can decorate it with coconut flakes, nuts, dried fruits, according to your own imagination.
