Now I tried them for the first time and they didn't look very good to me, because I couldn't find where I put that thing of mine to decorate, to make the whipped cream look good .... But, the taste was very good !! !!

  • For savarine:
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 baking powder
  • For syrup:
  • 400 ml water
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1/2 esenta de rom
  • For decoration:
  • whipped cream
  • jam

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes


Beat the egg whites with half the amount of sugar. Rub the yolks separately with the remaining sugar, oil and baking powder. Add the egg whites over the egg whites and then incorporate the breadcrumbs, stirring gently. The composition is poured into molds and baked.

Meanwhile, prepare the syrup: put water and sugar to boil. After it starts to boil, add the rum essence and turn off the heat. The ripe savarins are removed from the molds and when they are cold, the top lid is cut off and syruped well.

Fill with whipped cream, put the lid on and then grease with jam. Put another word of whipped cream over the jam.
