Ingredients

Careful! Maison Armand S.R.L. mentions that the storage of personalized cakes / cakes (iced), at refrigeration temperatures (0-4 o C) for a period longer than 3-6 hours, leads to the degradation of the external appearance of the product (the appearance of beads due to & ldquotranspiration & rdquo of sugar paste, which absorbs the moisture of the mousse, the food color leakage, the wrinkling of the edible sheet on which the photos are printed, etc.)

When placing an order, please ask how best to deal with these cakes.

Santa Cake - Recipes

My dear ones, from today until after Christmas, I am parting from you here on the blog because we will go to the country to spend Christmas there. Although I will have a net (I hope!) I do not guarantee a connection so good that I can enter the blog.

That's why I wanted to wish you from now on 'Merry Christmas!', Many joys with your loved ones, a rich meal and snow as in fairy tales :)

For today I come up with the idea of a cake in the shape of Santa Claus, a guaranteed success for the little ones, but also a delight for the big ones. I am convinced that Santa likes it too :)

  • 8 eggs
  • 8 tablespoons sugar
  • 8 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • lemon essence
  • 1/2 packet of butter
  • 100 gr powdered sugar
  • the juice of a lemon
  • 3 tablespoons milk powder
  • sugar glaze
  • coconut flakes
  • food coloring

I separated the egg whites from the yolks. I rubbed the yolks with sugar until the sugar melted. I added lemon essence and flour.

Separately I whipped the egg whites. The consistency of the egg whites should be similar to whipped cream. I then mixed the egg whites with the yolks and flour.

When the composition was homogenized, I added it in a special Teflon tray in the shape of Santa Claus (I received it in a magazine).

I left it in the oven for 10 minutes on the right heat.

I carefully detached the edges of the tray and turned it over on a wood chipper.

I prepared the cream from butter rubbed with powdered sugar, in which I then added lemon juice and milk powder (it tastes like raffaello).

I cut the cake in half so as not to damage his 'face' and filled it with cream.

On top I glazed with various colors the contour of the shape and coconut flakes.

I kiss you dearly and I can't wait to see you again.

Cake with poppy seeds

Unfortunately, due to lack of time, many Romanians prefer to buy it, but the taste of freshly baked cake at home does not compare with any other option available on the market. In addition, if you prepare it at home, you know for sure which ingredients are used and you can more easily check their freshness. It's not as hard as you think to knead and bake homemade cake, and the recipe I propose to you is cake with poppy seeds , a less popular option, but very tasty. If you still prefer to prepare a classic recipe, try the cake fluffy with walnuts .

Muffins for Santa

Do you know how in all American movies children wait for Santa Claus with cakes and a glass of cold milk? I changed the tradition a bit and used one of my favorite recipes for honey muffins and waited for Santa with a basket of muffins. He must have liked it, because he was very generous with me this time

Ingredient:
& # 8211 85 gr of honey
& # 8211 256 gr of flour (2 cups)
& # 8211 100 gr sugar (1/2 cup)
& # 8211 3 teaspoons baking soda
& # 8211 ½ teaspoon salt
& # 8211 1 whole sea egg
& # 8211 1 cup skim milk (250 ml)
& # 8211 55 gr of melted butter
& # 8211 vanilla essence, cinnamon to taste

First mix the liquid ingredients in a large bowl: egg, milk, butter, honey. Separately, mix the solid ingredients: flour, sugar, baking soda, salt. Pour the liquid ingredients over the solid ones, mix using the mixer at medium speed. We pour the composition into muffin tins, lined with special papers. Bake the muffins for 15-18 minutes in a hot oven at 180 degrees.

Type: glaze the muffins with instant glaze from Dr. Oetker or secret ingredient *. If you do not have muffin tins, pour the composition into a cake pan.

* The secret ingredient appears in the recipe book for Christmas, which I told you about here. If you bought the jar of Roua Florilor honey to which the card was attached, you can answer the questions of the Apidava contest and you can win prizes worth a total of 500 euros.

Cheerful croissants for Santa

Today I present you a recipe that you can have on the Christmas table. It is delicious and prepares quickly. The croissants are so fluffy and fragrant that you can hardly stop eating.

The red color, given by alchermes which is a special liqueur for pastry, gives them besides the aroma, a cheerful color, intense red, the color of Christmas I would say.

Ingredient 25 cookies:

225 gr flour
1 or
60 gr butter
100 gr sugar
75 ml of warm milk
ammonia 3 gr (one level teaspoon)
vanilla essence
a salt peak
alchermes
rolled sugar

Mix warm milk and butter at room temperature until combined. Don't be afraid if an unrelated composition comes out because that's how it should turn out. Add the egg, vanilla essence, a pinch of salt and mix for a few more minutes, then gradually add the flour mixed with the ammonia (it is advisable to sift the flour before adding it to obtain fluffy and airy croissants). The resulting composition will look a lot like a cream, so very soft. DO NOT add flour. Put the dough in the fridge for 1 hour. After 1 hour, take the dough out of the fridge and turn it over on the well-floured table. We form dough cords that we cut into 5 cm pieces. We give them the shape of a horseshoe or a donut.

put them in the preheated oven at 220 degrees for no more than 10 minutes. The croissants must remain white. Place them in the tray further apart because they will grow a lot. We take them out of the oven and let them cool completely, then we soak them in alchermes (only the top) and put them in sugar. We don't soak them much in liqueur, but only for a few seconds, like in tiramisu biscuits. The beauties are incredibly tender and tasty and very strong. On the Christmas table they will look great.

I anticipate a question that I will surely receive, namely what can you replace this liqueur with in case you can't find it? I say they can soak in any type of alcohol you like. I am not good at this chapter but I am convinced that there is another red liqueur besides alchermes. Ultimately, you can soak them in a little red wine or if you can't make a syrup from water, sugar, orange peel and then give the croissants sugar.
